This 90% silver coin had pretty good buying power when it was released over six decades ago. Just one could buy a gallon of gas and four of them would get you into the movies. Only 62 million were output in Denver in 1959, vastly fewer than the number produced today. Many of those specimens have been lost over the years to melts as the value of the coin's silver has outpaced its numismatic value for many, many years now. Very Fine quality.
