This sizeable twopence was Britain's largest circulating coin. It proved to be unpopular in commerce and it's really no wonder — the short-lived coin had an inconveniently large 41 millimeter diameter and contained a cumbersome two ounces of copper. A good belt would be needed if more than a couple were in your pocket! All told, only around 720,000 pieces were minted making them a tough find today. Circulated.
