This classic coin was struck in .925 fine silver by The Royal Mint from 1893 to 1900. Queen Victoria was born in 1819 and went on to lead an extraordinary life. Her reign of 63 years and seven months was longer than any of her predecessors. On the obverse is the final portrait of the Sovereign to appear on coinage. This famous "Old Head" likeness replaced the previously used "Jubilee Head." Appearing on the reverse is a timeless interpretation of Saint George slaying the Dragon. Very Fine quality. Our choice of date.
