Product Description
This 90% silver half dollar was issued 150 years after the first military engagement of the American Revolution to commemorate the Battles of Lexington and Concord. As the sesquicentennial of the battle neared, both the towns of Lexington and Concord were encouraging the minting of a commemorative coin. The final issue featured a Concord themed obverse and a reverse showing a Lexington landmark. Just 162,013 coins were minted 95 years ago. Extra Fine quality.
