Product Description
This early U.S. Mint commemorative celebrated the 150th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Linking the two eras are busts of George Washington and then-president Calvin Coolidge (though it wasn't quite legal to show a living American on a U.S. coin). The Liberty Bell on the reverse was later adapted for the Franklin half dollar. Our Extra Fine quality retains virtually all detailing in the engravings.
