Product Description
We've curated a trio of small denomination coins that were struck during the American Civil War. The years-long conflict caused silver, gold and copper coins to all but disappear from circulation. The U.S. Mint would alter the original copper-nickel composition of the Indian Head cent to that of bronze, introduce the motto IN GOD WE TRUST on a new, peculiar two-cent piece, and in place of the vanished silver trime, issue a copper-nickel three-cent piece. Our choice of dates based on availability.
