All three of these beloved silver coins were designed by U.S. Mint Chief Engraver Charles E. Barber. This Liberty Head engraving is considered Barber's masterpiece. Because it was planned for the dime, quarter and half dollar, he spent five years in preparing the Liberty engraving. After numerous patterns were considered, Barber's final design won great acclaim. It's regarded as the most perfect classical U.S. coin design. And it was the last U.S. coin engraving to appear on three separate denominations. This wonderful starter set includes an 1892-1915 Barber silver half dollar, an 1892-1916 Barber silver quarter and an 1892-1916 Barber silver dime in Good quality.
