Product Description
Millions of Morgan dollars were churned out in the 1880s, but by the next decade their output had begun to decline drastically. In 1894, the New Orleans Mint struck 1.7 million silver dollars which proved to be the facility's third lowest output in the series. Today it's estimated that less than 1% survive in mint-state grades as evidenced by an average BU specimen's steep price tag of $4,375! But we've stockpiled a handful of next-best About Uncirculated specimens that are a great option for collectors seeking a quality grade at a more affordable price.
