The official name for this silver dime series is technically the Winged Liberty Head, which was yet another beautiful issue designed by Adolph A. Weinman during the Golden Age of American coinage. Liberty's winged cap was intended to represent freedom of thought, but was so often mistaken for the Roman god Mercury that it earned the 90% silver dime its moniker. You'll receive an inaugural 1916 issue and final 1945 specimen in Good to Fine quality. Our choice of mintmark combinations based on availability.
