Product Description
In 1928 the Peace dollar quota was reached and minting abruptly stopped. The San Francisco Mint produced just 1.6 million Peace dollars that year, one of the lowest mintages of the series — vastly fewer than most earlier dates and substantially fewer even than the later 1934 and 1935 productions, when the series was briefly revived. In average mint-state quality, this elusive issue sells for nearly $800. You'll pay significantly less than that for our sharply detailed Extra Fine quality.
