Product Description
Merely 25,599 sets were issued 56 years ago. There hasn't been a regular U.S. mint set production anywhere near as low since (they've been up to 107 times higher). Just one year later, the 1955 mint set's output shot up over 90% to 49,656. This vintage set contains 30 pristine Brilliant Uncirculated issues, ten struck at Philadelphia (no-mintmark), ten at Denver (D) and ten at San Francisco (S). 18 of the coins have 90% silver content.
