Product Description
Three different reverse types of thePhiladelphia-issued 1972 Eisenhower dollar exist. We've acquired a handful of the scarcest
Type II variety in fantastic Near-Gem MS-64 condition. This hard to find type is identified
by a high relief, rounded earth; missing islands off the coast of Florida; and weak detail
of the continents. Based on the average lifespan of a die, experts estimate that as few as
100,000 to 200,000 Type II specimens may exist —and of those an even smaller number
are worthy of this superlative MS-64 grade.
