Product Description
1974 Proof Set – Even though this 1974 six-coin clad proof set was issued half a century ago, it's still remarkably affordable. This collector's set was only the second of its kind to include the big Ike dollar, although the coin had originally debuted in 1971. Its final mintage of 2.6 million was the lowest of a 24 year period spanning from 1961 to 1985.
1997 Proof Set – In 1997, the U.S. Mint issued just 1,975,000 five-coin proof sets. That year proved to be the second-lowest regular proof set production in four decades and was just 47% of the peak 4.1 million mintage of 1976.
