The Mint's Bicentennial year engravings include the Drummer Boy quarter, Independence Hall half dollar and Liberty Bell dollar. Each was designed to honor our country's two hundredth birthday and carries the dual dates of 1776-1976. Despite its special Bicentennial importance, this set's mintage ended at just 1,892,513. The 1973 mint set had the only lower mintage of the 1970s - 1,767,691.
