Product Description
This 1977 U.S. proof set was one of the last to include a big Eisenhower dollar, in addition to the cent through half dollar denominations. This set emerged soon after the San Francisco Mint introduced frosted engravings to heighten the beauty and elegance of its proofs. Its 3.2 million mintage was substantially lower than the similar-priced 6-coin 1979 U.S. proof set, which includes the first Susan B. Anthony dollar.
