Product Description
This colorful sheet of twenty different 29-cent stamps is uncirculated and still intact. Issued in 1994, these beautiful stamps honor a wide variety of historic people connected to the American West. Celebrated are famous pioneers, Native Americans, cowboys and performers. The USPS mistakenly used a photograph of Bill Pickett's brother, Ben Pickett, as the basis for one portrait. Only a month after the stamp's release, the descendants of the Pickett's informed the USPS of the error. The stamps were recalled and this new version was released with a corrected illustration.
