Complete "Unofficial" 1995 Civil War FDC Collection – The USPS released a collection of 20 different 32¢ stamps featuring a variety of Civil War participants and events on June 29, 1995 in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. A complete collection of first day covers canceled in Gettysburg sells elsewhere for $85, but we've sourced an extra-special deal! Our set of covers was also canceled that same day, but not at the official city of release. Instead, these "unofficial" collectible covers were canceled at Beauvoir, the home of the Confederacy's president, Jefferson Davis in Biloxi, Mississippi. Envelope artwork may vary.
Civil War 150th Anniversary Commemorative Set – This set commemorates the 150th anniversary of the American Civil War by combining numismatics, philately and a genuine bullet recovered from one of the conflict's numerous battlefields. Also included is a 1962 U.S. postage stamp issued to mark the centennial of the Battle of Shiloh, as well as a golden-colored 2011 U.S. quarter honoring Gettysburg National Military Park, site of the most well-known battle of the Civil War.
Genuine Civil War Token – Nationwide coin shortages during the Civil War led many merchants to issue their own tokens in an effort to stay in business. Featuring a wide array of designs, advertisements and sentiments, these privately minted copper pieces were the size of the standard cent and many looked much like government issued coins. You will receive one Civil War token of our choice of design in Fine or better quality.
