Product Description
Introduced in 2000, the compact Sacagawea dollar hoped to revive the dollar coin in commerce, but the public didn't embrace it. Production drastically dropped and the U.S. Mint decided to continue issuing Sacagawea dollars only in limited-mintage collector editions. In 2009 the Treasury introduced one-year-only reverse designs celebrating the contributions of Native Americans to the history of the United States. Housed in a deluxe album, our complete Brilliant Uncirculated collection includes both Philadelphia and Denver issues from every year of the series.
