This was the final regular U.S. proof set to include a traditional-size dollar coin, in addition to other denominations. And it was one of the first San Francisco Mint proof sets to feature beautiful frosted engravings contrasted with mirror backgrounds. The last 1978 Eisenhower dollar proof was issued only as part of this set. So dealers have broken up a good number of sets for individual Ike proofs.
