1987 Mint Set 10 Coins

This affordable 10-coin 1987 mint set is noteworthy for being the only place to find the year's Uncirculated Kennedy half dollars. The Mint did not issue the Philadelphia or Denver half dollar for circulation, but instead only included the denomination in the annual mint set. A total of 2,890,758 units were issued, but over the years many sets have been harvested for the 50¢ specimens leaving fewer remaining intact.
