The first Lincoln cent of 1909 was issued for the 100th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's birth. This beloved coin has been minted in every succeeding year and is by far, the longest continuous coin series in American history. The Depression era 1933-D Denver Mint issue had a limited production of just 6,200,000 making it a comparatively tough find. Production quadrupled at that branch mint the very next year and has never again been so low. Fine quality.
