Product Description
Morgan silver dollar mintages steadily rose in the 1880s, when silver was still pouring out of the great Western mines. But many Morgans were held in reserve and vast quantities lost in government melts. Original mintages can be very deceiving in relation to the actual number of surviving issues. Just 3% of this Morgan's original mintage may survive in mint-state quality and far fewer in this Choice MS-64 grading. Protective transparent case with certification by the PCGS or NGC.
