The Confederate States of America issued its own currency during the Civil War. Hand-signed more than 160 years ago, this sought-after $100 horse blanket note features a central vignette of a steam locomotive and milkmaid in the lower left corner. With the collapse of the Confederacy, CSA notes became worthless and many were destroyed. These surviving specimens have been authenticated and consensus graded by PMG, the leading authority in paper currency. Each certified note is sealed in a protective inert plastic holder. Note's back is blank. Our choice of grade based on availability.
