1885 Philadelphia Morgan Silver Dollar, Very Fine. As one of the most beloved of all U.S. coins, Morgan silver dollars boast the double dynamic of both silver and numismatic value, adding to their appeal. A massive 17.8 million were struck by the principal mint in 1885, but vast numbers have since been lost to melts and attrition over the last 139 years. Less than 10% of its original mintage is thought to remain in collectible condition. Nicely detailed Very Fine quality.
1890 Philadelphia Morgan Silver Dollar, Very Fine. The 1890 Morgan struck by the mother mint is one of the most affordable silver dollars from the decade; although 16.8 million were output by Philadelphia, today an estimated 2% may remain in mint-state condition. Due to the effects of the repeal of the Sherman Silver Purchase Act, the decade of the 1890s would give rise to many of today's ultra-expensive and ultra-rare Morgans. Very Fine quality.
