Product Description
1889-O New Orleans Morgan Silver Dollar: Of the 11.8 million originally struck by New Orleans in 1889, an estimated 1% – less than 45,000 – may survive in Uncirculated grades. The scarcity of this O-Mint issue means that average BU specimens regularly sell for almost $1,200. Considering that price tag, circulated grades – like our Very Fine specimens – are an excellent way to fill a hole in your collection.
1892-O Morgan Silver Dollar: The Treasury dialed back New Orleans' 1892 output to just 2.7 million pieces – only about one-third of the previous year's mintage. Today, as few as 133,000 original 1892-Os may remain in collectible condition. Nowadays, garden variety BUs sell for over $1,100, which makes acquiring circulated 1892-O specimens an especially enticing option for budget-conscious collectors. Very Fine quality.
1894-O Morgan Silver Dollar: In 1894, New Orleans produced 1.7 million Morgans – more than the year's combined output by Philadelphia and San Francisco. For the date, the 1894-O is the toughest issue to find in Uncirculated grades – fewer than 3,300 examples are thought to survive as such. Collectors can easily expect to pay four figures to acquire an average mint-state specimen, but with this offer you'll spend just a fraction for one in nicely preserved Very Fine condition!
