Product Description
1890 Morgan Silver Dollar BU: It's the only BU Morgan of the early 1890s that's so affordable today. As few as 2% of this Philadelphia 1890 production survives in mint-state quality. Earlier issues in the series that cost the same can be up to ten times as plentiful in Brilliant Uncirculated quality.
1878-S Morgan Silver Dollar BU: This San Fran issue introduced the Morgan to the West. It was a day's pay for most Americans, so relatively few were saved in mint-state quality. Of the five first S-Mint Morgans considered the best struck in the series, this 1878-S issue is the scarcest overall.
1902 Morgan Silver Dollar BU: Today it's estimated that up to ten times more of some earlier Morgan issues survive in mint-state quality than this 1902 Philadelphia issue. Less than 2% of its eight million mintage is estimated to exist today in the Brilliant Uncirculated quality we offer.
1883-CC Morgan Silver Dollar BU: The Carson City Mint's total Morgan output was just 2% of the entire series. The majority of 1883-CC Morgans were stashed away and held in reserve in Treasury bags. Although once relatively plentiful, specimens have become harder and harder to locate.
