This first-year Morgan is a great prize for collectors, especially in our Brilliant Uncirculated quality. It was struck at the small Carson City, Nevada branch mint, whose production was quite limited compared to the Philadelphia and San Francisco Mints. Expert opinion holds that as few as 75,000 may survive in circulated condition and 160,000 in mint-state quality. There's always a great demand for this original Wild West CC-mintmark Morgan date and comparatively few are ever available in the marketplace.
