Product Description
1912-S Lincoln Cent VG-F: Still in the infancy of the series, these Lincoln cents were struck in the year the Titanic sank, Arizona became the 48th state and Woodrow Wilson was elected President. Of the three mints then in operation, San Francisco's output was the smallest, with only 4.4 million minted. That same year, Denver produced more than twice that number and Philadelphia more than
15 times! Very Good to Fine quality.
1912-D Liberty Head Nickel G: Less than 8.5 million Liberty Head nickels were struck by the Denver Mint more than a century ago in what was technically the last year of the series (no 1913 issues are supposed to exist, yet five specimens are known). This date is special for two reasons – the 1912-D is only one of two issues in the series to bear a mintmark and it was the only Liberty Head nickel ever struck by Denver. Well-traveled Good quality.
