1924 Peace Silver Dollar, the principal mint output a respectable 11.8 million Peace dollars in 1924, however that figure paled in comparison to the astounding 52 million issued just two years earlier in 1922.
1925 Peace Silver Dollar, in 1925, the Philadelphia Mint struck 1.6 million fewer Peace dollars than the year prior. With such massive outputs generated in the first two full years of the series, the mintage quota set to fulfill requirements of the 1918 Pittman Act drew nearer; 1925 would be the final year any Peace mintage topped 10 million. Through melts, attrition and the passage of 98 years, an estimated 10% of the original mintage may remain today in Brilliant Uncirculated and higher grades.
