Product Description
1925-1930 Standing Liberty Silver Quarter. When the Barber quarter was retired in 1916, the beautiful Standing Liberty design that replaced it shocked some members of the American public. Lady Liberty was depicted with an exposed breast and thigh. Partway through 1917, the scantily clad Liberty was covered in chain mail and remained so until the end of the series. Our 1925-1930 Extra Fine quality specimens issued later in the series are especially well preserved. Our choice of date and mintmark based on availability.
1932 Washington Silver Quarter. The familiar Washington quarter dynasty began in 1932 to commemorate the first U.S. President's 200th birthday. The coin proved to be so popular with the American public that it inspired the regular series that continues in a revised form to this day. Newly released coins are often saved as keepsakes, but these quarters were first issued during the depths of the Great Depression and saw heavy circulation in the dismal economy. Our nonagenarian Good quality specimens are especially affordable.
