1987 Constitution Silver Dollar, This 90% silver dollar was minted for the U.S. Constitution's bicentennial. The obverse shows a quill pen, parchment paper and the famous inscription, WE THE PEOPLE. The reverse features an assembly of Americans ranging from the founding fathers' era to modern times. Over six times as many proof versions were struck that year making this BU issue a tougher find.
1993 Jefferson Silver Dollar, Issued to celebrate the founding father's 250th birthday, the sculpted portrait displays the young Jefferson at the time he authored the Declaration of Independence. The Architect of Democracy was then just a little over 30 years of age. Monticello reverse. Just 266,927 of these 90% silver dollars were struck in Brilliant Uncirculated quality.
2006 Founding Father Silver Dollar, Desirable for its low mintage, this commemorative 90% silver dollar celebrates the 300th anniversary of Benjamin Franklin's birth and his role as one of the Founding Fathers of the U.S. Reverse depicts Franklin's 1776 Continental Currency. Obverse bust of Franklin. Just 58,000 were struck in this BU format while over twice as many proofs were output.
