These two historic wildlife-themed coins were issued in 1967 in observance of the Canadian Confederation's centennial. Both proof-like coins were struck with 80% silver content, feature dual 1867- 1967 dates and species of animals native to Canada; a mackerel is depicted on the reverse of the dime, while the quarter shows a striding lynx.
