First issued in 1663, the gold guinea became synonymous with the rising power of the British Empire. Because of its reliable purity, the guinea became one of the world's most important trade coins. This modern version is minted from 1/10 ounce of investment grade silver, echoing the design of the spade guinea, albeit much more affordable! Our choice of 2020-2021 date.
