Product Description
America's first small dollar was created with the intention of saving the U.S. Mint production costs over the heavy, cumbersome Eisenhower dollar and paper currency that had a typical lifespan of only 18 months. Minted at Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco from 1979 to 1981, and briefly revived again in 1999, the petite SBA dollar never gained wide acceptance in commerce due to its nearness in size to the quarter. Set includes three different Brilliant Uncirculated issues. Our choice of 1979 to 1981 dates and mintmarks. May differ from images shown.
