Product Description
In 1962, the 1888-O Morgan silver dollar was a relative scarcity in the series. Now, after the final Treasury releases of the 1960s, this issue is one of the most affordable Morgans. Experts contend that today, after attrition and government melts, as few as 160,000 Uncirculated 1888-O issues survive. That's just 1% of the original mintage. That low BU survival number puts added pressure on circulated grades like these Very Fine quality coins.
