Product Description
The Congressional quota for Peace dollars was reached in 1928 and production was suspended. Six years later, in the depths of the Depression, minting was resumed. The 1934-D Peace silver dollar was the last of just five Denver Mint issues in the entire historic series. And it's the second scarcest D-mintmark Peace dollar. As few as 4% of the original mintage is estimated to exist today in the Extra Fine quality we offer or higher grades.
