Product Description
1878 7-TF Morgan Silver Dollar BU: When the Morgan dollar debuted in 1878, a kerfuffle ensued regarding the number of tail feathers an eagle possessed. This desirable seven-tail feather, flat-breast variety was struck to replace the original eight-tail feather design when it was determined to be incorrect. This revision would be short-lived as it was again modified later in the year. The flat-breast eagle would not be repeated until the last issue of 1921. Brilliant Uncirculated quality.
