Product Description
For more than a century, Morgan collectors have been bewitched by the CC mintmark. There is arguably no other coin produced by the U.S. Mint that can transport a person through time quite like the CC Morgan. As if by magic, holding that big silver dollar in hand conjures figures of dusty miners, weather-beaten cowboys and outlaws armed with six-shooters. The thump-clank, thump-clank of spurred boot steps on rough-hewn wooden floors and the raucous squawk of swinging saloon doors can be heard. The smell of whiskey, horses and hay wafts through the hot, dry air...
These historic Morgan silver dollars were struck at the remote Carson City Mint near the Comstock Lode in Nevada. As the smallest branch of the Mint, it produced the fewest silver dollars of the entire series – only 2% of Morgans would wear the double Cs of the famous facility.
Today prized Carson City Morgan silver dollars are getting much tougher to locate in any grade. We've sourced some hard to find specimens and have cut our price – you'll save a huge $3,793 off our regular combined price when you buy all four!
