Product Description
1890-S Morgan Silver Dollar XF – Morgan mintages in the 1880s had been substantial, so few 1890 issues were needed. Of those saved, vast numbers were lost in government melts. It's estimated that less than 5% survives today in this Extra Fine condition or higher grades.
1897-S Morgan Silver Dollar XF – Mint-state San Fran Morgans from the latter part of the series are tough to find and pricey. As few as 75,000 BU 1897-S Morgans may survive today and those sell for hundreds of dollars. That makes these Extra Fine specimens a great choice.
1921-S Morgan Silver Dollar XF – The Morgan series was suspended in 1904 and later the existing hubs were destroyed. The re-created issues of 1921 were somewhat different from all earlier Morgans, with generally less relief and the only micro-S mintmark of the series. Extra Fine quality.
1923-S Peace Silver Dollar XF – Of the 19 million Peace dollars minted at San Francisco in 1923, it's estimated that today as few as 0.2% may exist in mint-state quality, which makes this circulated Extra Fine specimen a great choice for collectors.
1925-S Peace Silver Dollar XF – S-Mint Peace dollar production drastically fell in the mid-1920s. Its 1925-S mintage of just 1.6 million was merely 8% of the 1923-S output. Today as few as 22,000 may survive in mint-state quality putting added pressure on Extra Fine quality issues.
1926-S Peace Silver Dollar XF – The 1926-S production rose to 6.9 million, but as few as 1% of the original mintage may remain in mint-state condition. By contrast, BUs of the peak-production 1922 Philadelphia issue are believed to be over 50 times as plentiful today.
