1886-P Morgan Silver Dollar Extra Fine

In 1886, Philadelphia struck a record 19.2 million silver dollars – at that time it was the most produced by any mint. But today that original mintage figure is deceptive – an untold number were held in storage and later melted down during the two world wars. Less than 10% of the original production is estimated to remain in mint-state quality today.
