Product Description
Of the 95 different circulation issues in the lengthy Morgan series, only five had mintages lower than 350,000. With a total output of 330,846, the 1899 Philadelphia (no mintmark) issue had the second lowest production by the principal mint, which turned out as many as 44 million Morgans annually. Today it's far and away the key scarcity among Morgans of the late 1890s in our sharply detailed Extra Fine quality. Nice circulated specimens are really tough finds. Only a few thousand are estimated to exist, far fewer than even prized mint-state specimens.Product Videos
