Product Description
Before the last bags of silver dollars were released from the Treasury in the 1960s, this New Orleans issue was once a prime rarity in the Morgan dollar series. So much so, that any mint-state specimen commanded at least several hundred dollars in the pre-inflation currency of the time. Now you can own a certified, connoisseur-quality MS-64 specimen with spectacular luster and surfaces for a great price. It's estimated that as few as 300,000 may survive in MS-64 or higher gradings. Each coin is slabbed in a protective transparent case, with its prized MS-64 grading certified by the Professional Coin Grading Service or Numismatic Guaranty Corporation.
Please note that certified coins should never be removed from their cases, and are not returnable once removed.
