Product Description
This issue is truly the key date in the Mercury dime series. Denver's 1916 tiny mintage of just 264,000 pieces was the lowest of the whole series and the only date to have under one million output. A tough issue to find in any grade, the 1916 Denver dime is necessary for any complete collection. It's estimated that only 10,000 may exist in all grade levels. Mint-state coins easily sell for thousands of dollars and are not easy to come by, which puts added collecting pressure on circulated grades like this About Good specimen.
