Product Description
The Denver Mint began producing coinage in 1906, two years after the Morgan had been suspended. Then, in 1921, the government decided that more silver dollars were needed. George T. Morgan, now the U.S. Mint's Chief Engraver, redesigned his famous coin with generally less relief and smaller mintmarks. Denver's 1921 Morgan carried the only Micro D mintmark ever. Our one-grade lower AU coins feature the same luster as BU but minor wear on the highest points of the design.
