Product Description
Only the Philadelphia and San Francisco Mints struck Peace dollars in 1925. The 1925-S mintage of 1.6 million was only 16% of Philadelphia's output, with a far smaller proportion of the S-mintmark issue surviving today. Because of this, the 1925-S Peace dollar remains one of the three key scarcities of the first half of the series. Boasting original mint luster and just a trace of wear, these About Uncirculated specimens are a great choice for budget-conscious collectors. Sometimes the price gap between an AU and BU specimen is as slight as the quality difference, but for this 1925-S Peace dollar issue, it's substantial.
