The U.S. quarter was redesigned in 1916, but the new series was cut short after only 15 years when in 1932 a new Washington quarter was introduced to coincide with the bicentennial of the first president's birth. Minted in Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco there are just 37 issues in the brief Standing Liberty quarter series. You can acquire a nice quartet of Denver's last issues of the series from 1926 to 1929. Good to Very Good quality.
