Designed by Howard K. Weinman (the son of Adolph A. Weinman, the famous sculptor of Walking Liberty fame), the obverse depicts busts of a Dutch colonist and Native American, which was intended to symbolize the harmonious coexistence of the two cultures. A Dutch ship in full sail appears on the reverse. Brilliant Uncirculated quality.
