Product Description
We've acquired a number of superbly struck 1943-D Mercury silver dimes – not only are these slabbed specimens graded as MS-67, but they've also received the classification of "FB," (Full Bands), which is coveted by collectors. To earn this designation, the central bands of the reverse fasces must show a complete split in the middle. This important distinction is indicative of a sharp strike, which is a true rarity as many Mercury dimes were weakly struck with incomplete details. To date, only a tiny portion of the 72 million dimes minted by Denver in 1943 have been classified with Full Bands. Certified by NGC; labels may vary.Product Videos
