This 43-coin collection features every S-mint Jefferson Nickel proof in the first 70 years of the popular series, with the exception of the Type II issues from 1979 and 1981.
Proofs from the 2004 and 2005 Westward Journey series commemorating the bicentennials of the Lewis and Clark expedition are also included. The 2006-2008 proof issues carry the most recent design, featuring Jefferson facing forward and Liberty inscribed in Jefferson's own handwriting.
The superlatively minted proofs have double-struck engravings and dazzling mirror surfaces. These S-mint coins were all originally part of U.S. proof sets and can be tough to find individually.
