Product Description
After the final Peace dollars were struck in 1935, no dollar coins were issued by the U.S. Mint until the introduction of the Eisenhower dollar in 1971. The series was brief; although Ike dollars were popular with collectors, their hefty size proved cumbersome in commerce and were discontinued in 1978. These second-year clad 1972 Ike specimens were output by the Philadelphia Mint and still remain in impressive Brilliant Uncirculated condition 50 years later.Product Videos
